Safety

StoryFunTime is a place for families and children. Every story, character, name, and recording must be appropriate for a young child to see and hear. We enforce this with zero tolerance.

What is not allowed

• Profanity, foul language, slurs, or crude humor, in typed text, character names, story titles, or voice recordings.
• Sexual, suggestive, or romantic content of any kind involving children, or any sexual content at all.
• Violence, gore, weapons used to threaten or harm, or frightening content inappropriate for young children.
• Hate, harassment, bullying, or content that demeans any person or group.
• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, self-harm, or dangerous activities.
• Photos of people you don't have the right to use, including other people's children without their parent's or guardian's permission.
• Using the app to impersonate, embarrass, mock, or target a real person.
• Attempts to trick, bypass, or test our filters.
• Any commercial, public, or non-family use without our written permission.

How we protect children

• Automatic filters screen typed story text, Ai prompts, character names, and titles before anything is created. Uploaded photos are checked by our Ai provider's safety filters.
• Blocked requests: if content is flagged, it will not be created, and the attempt is logged for review.
• Report button: every story and shared link includes a way to report a concern. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
• Human review: our team reviews flagged activity and every report.

What happens if the rules are broken

1. 1. Immediate removal.
   Content that violates these standards is removed from the system immediately.
2. 2. Immediate suspension.
   The account is suspended right away. A suspended account cannot create, view, or share stories.
3. 3. Review.
   Our team reviews the account and activity, generally within 3 business days. You may reply to your suspension notice with any information you'd like us to consider.
4. 4. Permanent suspension.
   If we determine the account attempted to create or share content that is inappropriate for children, the suspension becomes permanent. The account will not be reinstated, and the person may not create a new account.

Illegal content involving children, including any sexual content involving a minor, results in immediate permanent removal without review, and is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law.

Accounts permanently suspended for violations are not entitled to refunds of unused books or credits, except where required by law or by Apple's or Google's refund policies.

If we determine a suspension was a mistake, we will restore the account and its content.
